I have a range of experience with psychotherapy and counseling. In addition to practicing privately, my past experience includes providing psychotherapy and counseling to students at a university counseling center, formerly homeless adults in supportive housing, a non-profit providing wellness services for firefighters and their families in NYC, and a mental health community center for children, adolescents and parents.
I received my masters in social work in 2010 from NYU. I have also received training in Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS), completing levels 1 and 2, and IFS couples therapy trainings. In June 2018 I became a certified IFS Therapist. I have found this therapeutic model very helpful and effective in my work with clients.
Personal Approach to Wellness:
I love spending time outdoors running, hiking, playing tennis, listening to live music, as well as staying in and watching a variety of TV shows and movies. I also very much enjoy both eating and cooking, especially when it involves sharing a meal with family and friends.
